1.0.8
2026-08-31
Fixed
- Charging limits work again on macOS 26.6 after Apple changed the battery control interface
- Liwu now detects when macOS Charge Limit stops charging below Liwu's target and explains how to avoid conflicting charge controllers
Improved
- Charge Control now shows setup guidance to set macOS Charge Limit to 100% and turn off Optimized Battery Charging
1.0.7
2026-08-08
Fixed
- Sleep is no longer left disabled if Liwu is force-quit while Keep Awake is on — a closed-lid Mac could otherwise stay awake and drain the battery
- Heat protection no longer resumes charging after a single bad temperature reading
- Calibration now stops and shows the reason when the adapter is unplugged or a step cannot finish, instead of staying stuck
- Settings no longer revert when you change several of them in quick succession
- Charge controls stay disabled until the background component reports its current state, so an early click can no longer reset settings to their defaults
- Scheduled tasks sync reliably when the background component takes a while to start, and no longer run twice after a failed write
- Skipping the next scheduled run now reports a failure instead of appearing to succeed when its timing has already changed
- Narrowing the range no longer starts an unnecessary charge cycle
- A charge limit typed in the menu bar popover is no longer lost when the popover closes
- Battery health no longer reports an invalid 0% maximum capacity
- The macOS Optimized Battery Charging conflict warning now appears for limits just above 80%
- Monthly schedules use the same day of the month on every calendar setting
- The main window now opens reliably after activating from the website
- Fixed a rare case where an activated license could be lost while upgrading from an early version
