Refund Policy
Last updated: August 8, 2026
We want you to be happy with Liwu Pro. If you're not, you can request a refund within the window below.
Refund window
Within 30 days of purchase, you may request a full, no-questions-asked refund. The free tier requires no payment, is always available, and does not involve refunds.
How to request
Email us at support@liwu.app, including the order number or receipt you received at purchase. You can also request a refund directly through Paddle, which is the seller for your purchase — its receipt email links to your order. Either way the refund is issued by Paddle, and typically returns to your original payment method within a few business days.
After a refund
- We add the corresponding Pro license to a signed revocation list.
- Liwu picks that list up the next time it launches, or when you check for updates from within the app. It then returns to the free tier.
- Pro-only settings revert to their free-tier defaults — Range Mode, Auto Discharge and MagSafe LED switch off, and the sleep behavior changes from "Stay awake to limit" to "Stop charging". Scheduled tasks are switched off, though their definitions are kept, so subscribing again only requires re-enabling them.
- Your core battery-care features — charge limit, heat protection, macOS charge-conflict detection, live readouts, pausing charging during sleep, and keeping the Mac awake with the lid open — remain available for free.
One thing worth being upfront about: Liwu checks your license entirely on your own Mac, and never contacts us to ask whether you are still allowed to use Pro. That is deliberate — your license keeps working offline, and it would keep working even if our servers went away. The trade-off is that a revocation is not instant: until the app next fetches the list, a refunded copy may still show Pro. We would rather accept that than make your Mac phone home.
