Terms of Service

These terms (the "End User License Agreement") are a contract between you and Liwu ("we", "us"), an independent developer, and govern your use of the Liwu app ("the Software"). By downloading or using the Software, you agree to these terms.

License grant

• The free tier of the Software is available to download and use at no cost.
• Liwu Pro requires the purchase of a valid license to unlock, granting you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pro features on your personal devices.
• One license may be activated on a reasonable number of personal devices.

Who you are buying from

There are two agreements involved, and they are with different parties. This licence agreement — covering how you may use the Software — is with us. The purchase itself is not: Liwu Pro is sold through Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as reseller and merchant of record. Paddle is the seller for that transaction, handles payment, tax and invoicing, and its own terms apply to it. Refunds are therefore processed by Paddle; see our Refund Policy for how to request one.

Intellectual property

The Software is proprietary. We reserve all rights in it. Except for the rights expressly granted in these terms, you acquire no other rights. Liwu also includes third-party open-source components; these are listed in Third-Party Notices inside the app (right-click Liwu.app, Show Package Contents, Contents/Resources), and each is governed by its own licence, which takes precedence over these terms for that component — including where it permits things these terms otherwise restrict.

Restrictions

• Do not decompile, reverse-engineer, or attempt to derive the source code.
• Do not redistribute, resell, rent, or otherwise transfer the Software or license.
• Do not bypass, crack, or circumvent the license-verification mechanism.

Disclaimer

The Software is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The Software is intended to optimize battery-charging behavior; to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct or indirect losses arising from your use of the Software.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the updated version will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Software constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
